OUR STORY

Founded In Farming

We first met in Hayfork and quickly realized we share the same work values and goals. So we started a cannabis farm together. Somewhere along the way we fell in love. Now we’re lucky to have it all; a productive farm, an expanding business, and a home in the most beautiful place on earth.

Our dream is for Hayfork Cannabis Co to continue the family farming tradition in the county that helped us prosper. And to always work hard, remain passionate and return home with soil under our fingernails.

Our Home, Trinity County

Trinity County, part of the Emerald Triangle, is one of the world’s premier cannabis growing regions. You can’t beat our hot days and cool nights, clean air and water, and nutrient-rich soil. We’ve been compared to the Central Asian terrains where the most potent and influential strains were first developed.

Not many people have heard of Trinity County, and that’s ok. We’re not as famous as our Emerald Triangle neighbors. If you do know about us, it’s because you know about quality cannabis. We’re fine keeping that our little secret.

Partnering With
the Best

We’re fortunate to be neighbors and friends with some of the best growers in Trinity County. We’re proud to carry their product to increase the diversity of what we can offer you. They share our passion for quality, innovation and sustainability and inspire us to always improve.

Our Commitment to Trinity County

We appreciate the county, the land, and the people that make what we do possible. When we’re not working on our farm, you might see us giving back what we can to these wonderful organizations.

The Trinity County Agriculture Alliance

We are proud founders and Board members of TCAA, the county’s first trade alliance for licensed cannabis professionals. Our mission is to foster an ethical, sustainable, and prosperous cannabis industry in Trinity County by empowering our members to advocate for our interests, promote our value, and support the communities we call home.

The Watershed Research and Training Center

We love the work done by The Watershed Center, our Hayfork-based nonprofit committed to creating and sustaining healthy lands and communities for over 25 years. They have endless programs to restore our waters, protect our animals, educate our youth and prevent fires. They even clean up the damage done by illegal trespass grows.

GREY FOX

Did you know the grey fox can climb trees? Jump between branches? Even swim? These medium-sized foxes rely on the health of our local water bodies, often using them to capture prey.

SPOTTED OWL

A true family bird, spotted owls pair up monogamously to raise their young. They protect a wide area around their nests and rely on the vastness and health of our forests.

STEELHEAD TROUT

Steelhead are actually coastal rainbow trout that travel back and forth between the ocean and the Trinity River to spawn and thrive in our healthy mountain streams and tributaries.

The Trinity County Food Bank

It’s hard to keep up with the Food Bank and their tireless efforts to end hunger in Trinity County since 1975. We do what we can through food drives and donations of money and supplies.

Hayfork Chamber of Commerce

Our local businesses have supported licensed cultivators from the start and our local chamber is no exception. As Board members, we work to make our small town a great place to live, work and visit for our members and community.

Trinity County Fair

Dana is on the Board of the Trinity County Fair, the Hayfork-based fairgrounds that hosts events, community meetings and even horses, including the fair itself since 1921. The fairgrounds are now cannabis event-friendly, so stay tuned for updates.
